I Need Support For My Loved One

“One’s life has value so long as one attributes value to the life of others, by means of love, friendship, indignation and compassion.” — Simone De Beauvoir

Substance Use

Impacts Everyone

Seeing a person you love struggle with substance use and addiction can be extremely difficult. You want to support them, but sometimes it's hard to know how.

We've all heard of ways to cope with a loved one's substance use, such as giving them tough love, ultimatums, and pulling back support by not caring.

But, it's not that easy... and often
relationship challenges remain.

First and foremost, in order to best support your loved one, you need to take care of yourself.

This is where LCHPS can help.

How We Can Help

At LCHPS we can assist in providing information to support you in caring for yourself and your loved one.

  • Caregiver Resources
  • Naloxone Training and Kits
  • Outreach support

Reach out and speak to us in-person, over the phone, or through text.

We are here to help both of you.

Support for You

We've developed a rack card listing some support services related to substance use. All services are locally available in Lake Country,

Kelowna and Vernon.

We've done the research for you!

Our printed rack cards can be found in our office, in various Lake Country businesses or downloaded from the link below.

Naloxone Training

Naloxone is a medication that temporarily reverses the effects of an overdose from opioids, such as Fentanyl, Cocaine and Heroin.

Naloxone saves lives.

Pick up a kit at our office, or at

any Lake Country pharmacy.
