Educational Open House and Naloxone Training*
6:45 pm - 8:15 pm
Beasley Park Community Centre
Wednesday, July 10, 2019
* Naloxone Training will be held at 7:15 pm
What is Naloxone? Naloxone is a medication that quickly reverses the effects of an overdose from opioids, such as Fentanyl, Cocaine and Heroin.
Naloxone saves lives.
Through Naloxone training, you will learn what Naloxone is, what is does, the signs and symptoms of an overdose, and how to properly administer Naloxone.
Like First Aid training, we hope it will never have to be used, but the reality is that people are overdosing and by having the skills to administer it, you can save a life.
Pick up a free Naloxone kit at our event, from the LCHPS office or any Lake Country pharmacy.
Want Naloxone training at your workplace? Give our Outreach worker Stefanie a call and book a specialize training session in your workplace.
Give LCHPS Outreach a call at 778-215-2015, or visit us at 10080 Main St, Lake Country
(open Monday-Thursday, 9 am - 3 pm)
