We Like You Alive!

Compassion, support and connection: This is what the CORE (Community Overdose Response and Education) project is all about.

We are supporting Lake Country residents in three different ways.

Join us at a free series of open houses and information sessions to learn about:

  • What Harm Reduction is and isn't

  • How we, as a community can work towards reducing stigma and increasing awareness about opioid use

  • Ways of increasing compassion and understanding for those using substances

  • Naloxone training & kits

6-7 pm, May 14, 2019: Revealing the Truth

Join us! This dynamic community engagement will challenge your thoughts, ideas and preconceptions regarding the Opioid crisis and who is affected.

We've done the research for you! We've developed a guide listing services related to substance use and harm reduction that are local to Lake Country, Kelowna and Vernon. Available at our office and through various community partners.

We are here for you. Through understanding, lived experience and compassion, we can assist you in navigating various resources and helping you access the supports you feel you need. It's not about what you have done, what substances you use, or even how much you use... We are a non-judgmental, safe place to to talk. Contact Craig, Outreach Worker at 778-215-5247.
